Can a z-pack (Zithromax) raise BP?

April 2012 in 3rd Trimester

Im 32 weeks and considered high risk for pre-eclampsia. I have a terrible sinus infection and Dr put me on a zpack for 5 days. Well low and behold my blood pressure is 140/90. Can the meds be doing this?
