Giving birth with hemmies

I'm a FTM with some serious hemmies going on. At first they didn't bother me so much and seemingly went away, yet now they're back with a vengeance since LO has "locked and loaded" so to speak, and they HURT! I have been using creams and sitz baths...anything just trying to find relief.This has me terribly scared that they may not disappear or will make pushing and the pain even worse. Are there any moms out there who had them during delivery, and what was your experience?
