Grapefruit Seed extract and thrush - please tell all

Ok, so I'm on day 3 of Nystatin and DD's tongue looks exactly the same.  I think my nipples are ok, but from what I'm reading, Nystatin rarely cures this. 

So, I have Grapefruit Seed Extract pills, which I am taking 3x/daily, and I also bought the liquid and I put in 20 drops to 2 ounces of water.  I think I'm supposed to coat DD's tongue with it 4/x day.  Does that sound right?

I also bought more yogurt (some with way less sugar than I'd been eating).  I bought acidopholus pills.  

When should I start to see improvement with GSE?  Anything else I can be doing? I think we both have a very minor form of it and I don't want it to get worse!
