heating pads to put LO to sleep

Have any of you used a heating pad set on low under Lo to keep them asleep? Of course I would be right there watching her. My LO will not sleep outside of someone's arms during the day. Warming up the crib with a heating pad and then taking it away keeps her asleep for about 10 min. I just need enough time to pump twice a day but I can't even fit that in.
