Plus sized mamas please come in...

So I have a scheduled c-section tomorrow and I'm freaking out.  I've been lurking on here for reassurance and mostly feel better about it since I had my heart set on a vaginal delivery.  

Anyway, when I saw my doctor the other day I asked if he was doing staples and he said no and that he was using dissolvable stitches and perhaps glue?  I got stuck on the no staples part.  Someone told me that it's better to use staples on overweight women.  Those who are plus-sized, did you have issues with your incision if you didn't have staples?  I have horrible images of my incision coming open or something equally horrible.  Please tell me I'm over thinking this.  I trust my doctor knows what he's talking about, but the idea of surgery in general has me so nervous.
