Does this seem strange.....

My best friend went to the hospital yesterday to give birth to their little girl...YAY!!! She was 1 1/2 weeks overdue and would have been induced tomorow had things not gotten started on their own. Anyway.....

I asked her last friday if she had her bags packed, the car seat in the truck, her birthplan all ready (she is at the major hospital in our area so not like a midwife and she doesn't have a doula) and her answer to every question was NO!!! Not even the carseat installed in the car! So her and her husband are at the hospital, have been there for nearly 24 hours now with very little progress and neither of them have anythign except her purse and his wallet. I'm taking him a change of clothes tonight, but they want nothing else....not even anything for the baby! Is this crazy? I love them both to death but really!?
