Breast milk jaundice treatment ?

Anyone have a LO diagnosed with breast milk jaundice?  Our DS had jaundice when he was first born, but he has been holding onto his yellow color even though his labs came back fine.  Our pediatrician says it is breast milk jaundice and recommends 24 hours of formula to clear his system and the yellow color.  After 24 hours, you go right back to breast milk.  He already gets bottles since I EP, so I'm not worried about nipple confusion.  24 hours shouldn't be so bad, I'll just pump and store.  Just wondered if anyone else was told to do this or if they did any other treatment for breast milk jaundice?
