how long after pumping do you feed?

I'm starting to build up my supply.   I feed DD in the morning (she'll empty one side and barely nibble on the other).  I try to pump after that but it usually takes an hour before I can set up because I have to get her situated and calm for a nap before I can pump.  Sometimes it seems like it's too early to feed after I've just finished pumping an hour or so before.  How long do you typically wait?  THX!
