Any advice? (TMI)

I'm coming over from the April 2012 board.  I had my baby almost 3 weeks early.  It was determined that she was too little and didn't have the power to suck.  I've been supplementing with formula and pumping.  Lately I my nipples have gotten soar from the breast pump and I really don't want to pump anymore.  I really want my baby to have breast milk, but by the end of the day it brings me to tears to pump.  Any ideas of how to reduce the soreness? 

I was told by the lactation consultant that the baby would likely to be able to latch on when she reaches her original due date.
