Tdap vaccine

I saw the piece on the Today Show this morning about getting this.  I asked my OB a couple of weeks ago about getting the Tdap vaccine and he said that since I would have already had it as a child, I wouldn't need to get it again...also, he didn't suggest that I get it while pregnant.  I checked with my mother and she recalls that I did have the vaccine as a child.  But on the Today Show, they mentioned something about getting a booster shot. 

Has anyone's OB suggested that they get the Tdap or booster for it and if so, when?  I'm not even sure who would do this....your primary doctor?  TIA!
