So I understand that when you want to freeze breast milk it is best first to refrigerate then freeze. My problem is that my refrigerated milk has separated and it looks like there is 'fattier' milk stuck to the side of the bottle. What should I do? If I allow it to get to room temp so that the milk mixes properly will it still be ok to freeze?
Also - refrigerated milk is good up to 8 days, correct? I have milk from March 31 that I want to freeze - is it still ok?
