Those who are dilated...

This third pregnancy has been very different. I had an appt today and was told I am 3cm dialated but only about 10% effaced. I remember with my other babies I was more effaced but was 3cm when I went to the hospital and had babies just a couple hours later.

 I know that you can walk around at 3cm for weeks or days, but there are also people who it may just be hours. I can't really compare to my other two becuase I went from 3 to 7 in just an hour and there is no progress like that as of now. But those who are dilated, what are you experiencing?? (or have you experienced with past babies)?! I am having lots of contractions, just not consistent. She as a few weeks to cook yet, I just needed some reassurance becuase this has been so different then either of the babies before!
