My employer is a moron!!!

OK...so my OB took me out of work on disability effective March 6th due to extreme back pain from a prior injury (2 herniated disks in the lower back) that has come back to haunt me during prenancy.  On the disability form, the doctor indicated that I would not be permitted to return to work until 6-8 weeks POSTPARTUM (at the earliest).  Apparently my employer has no idea what POSTPARTUM means, since I just got a letter stating that they think that I will be returning to work by May 2nd - before my due date!  Tell me, why they hell would any doctor take me out of work and then put me back in a couple weeks before I am due?!  So now on top of awful back pain and trying to get ready for the baby in the midst of it...I have to deal with this bullsh/t!  Ahhhh!  OK, vent over - thanks for listening!
