Anyone Watch "The Help"

I finally watched this movie today and it left me crying.  Good movie, but there is this one mom in the movie that just really got to me.  She was horrible to her daughter, and then ended up having another baby.  She obviously shouldn't be having kids.  I have a feeling that there were a lot of women back in that era that probably shouldn't have been mothers.  But on the other hand they are still better than some of the women who neglect their children now - at least back then they hired someone to care for their kids.

Anyone else's thoughts on this movie?
