Baby Shower Host?

When I initially told my employer (who is also a friend - I just nanny for her) that I am pregnant she said her and one of our other friends would need to plan a baby shower for me. I would be grateful if they did, but if they aren't I need to figure out who will otherwise. Is there a way to go about asking about it without seeming pushy? Mainly I just want to have an idea so that I can start to figure out a date with whoever is going to host is as I will have out-of-towners coming and want to give them as much notice as possible.
