MIL is nuts

I had a chat with my MIL today on some issues that I needed to clarify, long story, very boring, but anyway, she said this today about her own SON!

"I dont think he'll be a good father."

Who sais this about thier own son!? I dont understand, the moment I found out I was pregnant, the least of my worries was my DH, because I knew he wanted kids and he has a big heart and almost cried out of joy when I told him!
MIL feels this because of the way his father raised him, I told her if anything, DH vowed to do everything right for his children, be eveything His father was not and be a great dad!
Shes not convinced.
It makes me sad my husbands own mother thinks he cant be a good father..
