Getting Frustrated!

March 2012 in 3rd Trimester

I went to the doctor on Thursday for my 38 week check up. I was 4-5cm. dilated and she told me at the next sign of hard contractions to go in. Well, yesterday, I had 7 hard contractions in an hour so we went in?then the contractions stopped. Has this happened to anyone before? I feel like with me being so dilated, when I do go into labor i'm not going to make it there on time! We live 45 minutes from the hospital!
