Cervical scar tissue can slow or prevent dilation-everyone should read this article!

I just came across this podcast and article by the same person and thought I'd share the information. I had no idea that cervical scar tissue could be an issue during labor, my doctor and later my midwife did not ask me about it. After learning the info I let my midwife know that I had cryo surgery several years ago, and she had me start taking evening primrose oil. Glad I said something! Evidently evening primrose oil taken orally and then later on inserted as a vaginal suppository can help break up the scar tissue and soften the cervix.  

Just thought I'd pass on this info because I was grateful to learn about it. Has anyone had any success with evening primrose oil?
