To All Parents

This is a question for mothers and father who already have a toddler/preschooler...

Ok, so I suffer from Emetrophobia, which is a fear of throwing up. I also work in a child care centre, which makes it really hard for me somedays. Anyways, Im too shy to ask any of the parents there, but I want to know how often the parents get sick from when the child is sick, if at all? I know this information wont fix my phobia, but if I heard what some parents have to say about the topic, I think it'd give me a different perspective, and maybe might ease my nerves. So, when a young child catches something, and ends up sick, do the parents always suffer by catching it?
