Sleeping Pain Question

So my wife tonight was telling me that since she has been trying to sleep on her side more, when she wakes up in the middle of the night and starts to roll over on her back, he stomach actually hurts.

 Anyone else experience that? I told her it was probably because she's sleeping on her side, the muscles are pulling on her sides and when she suddenly goes on her back , the weight of everything is suddenly pressing down causing the pain. 

 Once she rolls back on her side the pain goes away.  So it's definitely a positional thing.
