Small Bassinet?

Can any of you ladies recommend a good, small bassinet?  I had planned to have the baby in our room in a FP Rock & Play, which is small and portable, but then I realized that it sits lower to the ground within reach of our dogs, who also sleep in our room.  I certainly don't want her low enough so that the dogs can lick her face, or be in reach of her while we are asleep.  We do not have a large amount of space next to our bed, so are looking for something that is not too wide, but would do the trick.  All suggestions appreciated!  TIA!
