NEED TO VENT.....

Everyone says "you should really be taking it easy."  I've had some issues with my pregnancy and do need to take it easy when I start to feel really bad BUT I also need to function as a human being.  I was already taken off work, but I'm the mother of an almost three year old......who is always on the go.  My husband is the only one who is really helpful......everyone else likes to tell me to "take it easy" but the offers to actually come and help are not flying in, if you know what I mean.  My mother in law watches our son a few afternoons a week for me, but that's it.  The cleaning/laudry/nanny-lady is me.  So unless I want to live in a house trashed by a three year old and I want my family to eat and have clean clothes.....I guess I'm on duty.

Anyone else having this going on....where people are helpful with their mouths but not their hands?  When someone says "you really need to take it easy" I would like to respond with "I know, would you come over and clean my house?"

I am in total b!tch mode today and that is not helping.
