Wall shelving for nursery?

Have any of you ladies had luck finding some good wall shelves to hang in the nursery?  We are looking for some single shelves (white or ones we can paint) that attach securely to the wall.  I have checked in-store at Walmart and found nothing.  Checked online at Target, but the ones listed don't get good reviews.  Not sure if perhaps the hobby stores like Joann's or Michael's might have these.  Any ideas?  TIA!
