FTM's....are you taking a L&D class?

I'm really torn about whether or not to take a class. I've been told that sure you can go but once the whole deal starts to happen you forget everything you learned anyway, I've heard it is a waste of money ($140 to be exact), I've been told that the doctors are going to tell you what to do anyway so what difference does it make......UGH!!! I know I'm for sure taking the breastfeeding class because that is something I have to do on my own, but as far as being in the hospital to deliver the baby, all of the doctors and nurses are going to be there telling me what I need to know anyhow right? What are all of you girls doing or what have you decided?
