XP from Sept '12: Anyone have (or having) a fetal echo?

We have one scheduled for 2 weeks from today and I'll be almost 16 weeks. I wasn't high risk with DS, so I never had one.

I've been doing research online and everything I've read says that they are typically preformed between 18-22 weeks.  But honestly, they didn't give me a lot of information around WHY I need the echo done.  Just that I presented some risk factors and they'd like to be cautious.

Our MFM Dr is doing it, we're not going to a special fetal cardiologist, if that matters...   

Anyway, just curiuos if any of you are having this done, and when they've scheduled your appointment.
