pregnancy lightening

Hi there-

I was having some sharp pains in my low abdomen area all yesterday evening.  It felt like jolts of shocking pain mixed with sharp constant pains.  What I've read this morning is that it was possibly lightening.  I'm 37 weeks so it could be the baby dropping or a sign of labor.  This is my 2nd child.  Has any other 2+ time moms felt this weeks before as you are dropping and not gone into labor soon after?

Just curious if I'm close since there is lots of info saying you don't necessarily go through this until labor after your 1st pregnancy.
