I just kind of hit the panic button and I would love some advice !!
When I first became pregnant I told my Dr about my love for coffee - sometimes 8+ cups a day. She told me no need to eliminate, just cut back - so I cut back to 2-4 mugs of 1/2 caff 1/2 decaf a morning, plus the occasional 1-2 cups of decaf later on in the day.
someone called me out on it today, explained the risk of all of the caffeine - and I didnt really think my 1/2 caff and decaf could add up to THAT much (compared to what I used to drink!) I don't drink full caff -bc I enjoy the process of drinking, so I spread it out over several cups but I guess I didnt really account for the caffeine still present in decaf!
have i done irreversable damage? are these amounts way too high? going to speak with Dr about it next week but would really appreciate hearing others' thoughts....
