2nd time moms- RLP?

I've been getting these really sharp shooting pains on either side of my abdomen lately, they don't last any more than 10-15 seconds but they're painful and have been coming more frequently. I'm assuming that it's round ligament pain. From what I have read it seems to be more common on the right side but mine is more on the left. My question is do you feel like you got more RLP with your 2nc pregnancy than your first? I don't remember this much at all with my first one, but I've been getting it a lot sine I've entered my 12th week. I'm just hoping its really RLP and not sketching that I need to worry about...
