Repost from 1st tri: ? About NT scan and blood work

I realized I should have probably posted this question here since most of you have already been through the NT scan process (if you decided to go through with it): 

I went in yesterday to do the paperwork for my blood work and go over the NT scan. I thought I was doing the blood work yesterday (that's what I was told). The midwife I met with told me to come back on Friday or Saturday to do the blood work because the results will be more accurate once I'm 11 weeks. My actual NT scan is not until March 26th, so should I wait until closer to that date to do the blood work? I can walk into the lab at any time, so it really doesn't make a difference for me to wait. Just curious what you were told and what you would do.
