Hair Residue

So I've noticed over the past few weeks that my hairspray won't wash out of my recent hair growth. It turns into a white-ish residue on the surface of my hair.  I know your hair can change/grow differently during pregnancy, but surely this isn't related to my pregnancy? I've never had this problem before. Tried a couple of different shampoos, and none so far have been helpful
