"we're hoping for a girl, you don't need another boy" - vent

Second time Mama's anyone else hearing comments like this?  We have a son and everyone keeps telling me how much they would like me to have a girl.  They have gone so far as to say that I don't need another boy.

I know it's silly to get upset, but I can't help but wonder if we do find our we're having a boy, how unexcited everyone will be.

It's just getting annoying...
