Xp: Does anyone have vertigo>?

I have been having on and off dizzy spells and know in pregnancy they are "common"  so Ithought as I have an appointment Wednesday- nothing to worry about - well Saturday I woke up dizzy and all confussed- so we went to the ER. 

Turns out I have Vertigo.  They said I can take Gravol - but of course it makes me drowsy so I dunno whats worse Vertigo or Gravol.  

Any tips?  or any insight?  This dizziness is nasty.  Of course- I will ask my dr. on Wedneday when I go - but just thought if anyone had something to say? TIA
