Would you ask your doctor?

I have an appointment this afternoon and at my last appointment they were concern that my cervix had dropped to 2.0cm but they didn't do anything about it other than scheduling another cervix check for 3/12. I was thinking about asking them if they could check my cervix again today at my regular OB visit. I am curous to see if it is changing, and if it is I want to catch it while we still can. I know I have a scheduled check next week though so maybe I am being silly and should just wait until then. What would you do? I don't know if they would even do it if I asked them to.
