discharge question

So through my whole pregnancy I really haven't had discharge. The last week or so, I've noticed white stuff floating in the toilet. Sudden discharge increase or potential mucus plug breaking up? I have a Dr appt tomorrow and I will ask. I know losing bits of my MP doesn't mean labor will be coming immediately, just found it odd that I hadn't had anything until now.
