Anyone have that constant "lump in throat" feeling?

All day today I have had this awful lump in the throat feeling. I feel like I need to keep swallowing but nothing helps. It almost makes me gag. Its happened a few times before but its lasting so long this time... I am lost as for what it is/whats causing it.
