Question about moving

I am moving to another state in two weeks and I was wondering if i need to tell the father of my baby. I am only 15 weeks pregnant and he has not been helpful at all. He actually just shut off the utilities in my home because he is mad we do not talk that much (they were in his name because he used to live there, but when we broke up he moved out). I could not afford to turn all of them back on, so I went to stay with family, and now I have a chance to move, where I have most of my family, and a new job waiting. I would really rather not have him involved at all, and I was wondering if I move and do not tell him, and he tries to get custody, will it hurt me to not tell him where I live?
