Is there a tactful way to ask for a different nurse at L&D?

I was in L&D the other night (and obviously got sent home) and absolutely hated my nurse. I cannot imagine if I had stayed to deliver the baby how crazy I would have gotten dealing with her. Our personalities just didn't mesh well, and she would not stop talking to me at the same time my OB was trying to talk. I was going nuts.

So is there a way to ask for a different nurse that doesn't make me out to be an irrational, insane patient? I've gone through L&D with two babies, and I'm not a patient who freaks out on everyone. I just did not want that woman there.
