Chest cold cough remedy?

So, I ended up getting a chest cold, not fun.  I've been drinking a ton of water, but is there something else that will help with the cough?  I know i just have to wait it out, but the coughing is driving me nuts.  Every time I cough, Sylvia kicks me!
