Has anybody been to the dentist with this pregnancy (or during previous pregnancies)?  I've had some pain so I booked an appointment for a couple of weeks from now (hopefully the pain doesn't get worse before then).  I mentioned to them that I was pregnant and they said that I was far enough along to get x-rayed if I was comfortable with it.  She also mentioned talking to my doctor just in case he advises no fillings during pregnancy.  I'll definitely call him before I go but I just wanted to see what experiences some of you had.  Were you unable to get certain procedures done due to pregnancy?

I would really like to get in before baby comes since my mat leave is a year long (I'm Canadian) and my dental benefits will be extremely decreased during that time.
