Anyone else experience heartburn vomit??? Possible TMI

I'll be in a dead sleep and wake up with a mouth (and nose) full of vomit.  I'll run to the sink and spit, but it's only the mouthful; never full on vomiting (for which I am very thankful).  I'll notice about the time I'm rinsing my mouth and re-brushing my teeth that I have heartburn (again) and will take a Tums.  It usually won't happen again that night. 

I'm not sick, this has happened periodically throughout my whole pregnancy; but now it's happening almost every night.  And it only happens when I'm sleeping. I've told my Dr., but she doesn't seem too concerned and told me not to eat before bed, which helped up until about a week ago. 

Has anyone else experienced this?
