Moms who already have girls-- dresses

I was once talking to a mom and commented on how cute the dress her LO was wearing.  And she told me that dresses are a huge PITA in the 6-12 month age range because it's hard to crawl with them on.  So while cute to look at, they barely used any of theirs because of this.  True/Not True?
