Advice?

Hi ladies. I just found out that my BIL and his wife are getting divorced. His wife is probably an alcoholic and cheating on him. She told him that they could settle things outside of the court, but then she got an attorney without telling him.  He cleaned the house and found 13 empty bottles of wine laying around... Neither one of them strike me as very mature or responsible, but out of the two he is better. What are some things I can suggest to him? He wants full custody of their 1 yr old. Everything she's been doing or telling him lately just seems fishy, and I want him to watch his back.
