long car trip at 31 weeks?

I have a call into my dr., but I'm just curious about others' personal experiences. I have a trip planned to see my newest niece and attend a family bridal shower. The trip down is about 7.5 hours, but we'll be breaking up the trip at about hour 5.5 for a bit (as well as any other stops along the way, of course). My husband will be driving and DD will be with us, but she is a good little traveler, so I'm not worried about that.

 Anyone else take this long of a car trip at 31 weeks? Did anyone's doctor say yay or nay?
