Glucose Test

So, is it really that bad? I keep hearing about people getting light headed and almost passing out left and right. I just don't see how eating a piece of toast, drinking some sugar water and having your blood drawn an hour later can cause this?

Is this from the drink itself or from being deprived of food? Maybe I just don't understand...

I never had morning sickness, so I just don't know if I do not suffer from these types of issues and if maybe the test causes people to feel like they are re-suffering from that? Maybe I wont be affected?
