Paying for an earlier ultra sound

I am seriously debating this- If I can convince my husband. There is a place an hour away from me that charges $75.00 for an ultra sound to determine the sex. Has anyone done this and would you reccomend this. I am so impatient and hate surprises and really want to know at 16 weeks instead of 20. Just want some advice.
