Raising A Helpless Generation? (article, interesting read)

I've often wondered this myself, and its interesting to see an article on the subject!  I have cousins who will be in college next year who have their parents attached at the hip!  And yes, my aunt has called a teacher to complain when he daughter didn't do well on a report at school.

What is your take on the article?  What about the "where did we go wrong?" and "uncomfortable solutions" sections at the end?
