parenting classes

Does anyone know of any organizations that offer "parenting classes"? (For lack of a better word).

 I am signed up for child birth classes, but for me that is not the scary part. I know there is not alot I can control during the birthing process and for me, there is no since in worrying about.

Taking the baby home on the other hand... is freaking me out. I have not been around babies that much (never been around newborns) and I am very nervous. I would love to prepare myself (and my husband) as much as possible as for what to expect. Anyone have any experience or advice?
