seeing spots?

I have been seeing spots started last night and went away, then saw them on off today, and they are back tonight... I called a 24hr nurses line and the nurse I spoke with said that my symptoms didn't seem like anything to worry about.  I checked my blood pressure (which is always really low) and it was low/ normal, not really any swelling to speak of, no headache, and my vision isn't blurry... I am just seeing a black and "light" spot in my right eye that is kind of flashing.  I have never experienced anything like this before.  I am calling my OB first thing in the morning, to see what she says, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this... just a little worried.
