For Moms with experience, how did you feel before labour started?

I'm a 2nd time Mom, but was induced with my daughter at 40wks5days. Now with baby number 2, I am hoping to go into labour on my own. So I'm wondering what I will feel like...

How did you feel right before you went into labour?

Was it everything as usual? Did you feel completely normal before contractions, etc.? Did you feel it coming on? What were some things that made you think labour was going to happen soon?

Did you do anything to bring on labour? 

I've been feeling a bit "off" for a few days (i.e. all of a sudden feel sick/hot, even if I'm resting, but then feel okay after awhile).
