Bio Oil?

Have any of you had any experiences with Bio Oil, or has your provider said anything regarding it? I bought some in hopes to prevent stretch marks but I?m reading it contains vitamin A and lavender, which I thought were no-no?s in pregnancy. Any idea? I'm paranoid about everything--this is our first baby! :X
